March 11th Hello Everyone, Things have been pretty quiet around our camp, but we just wanted to update everyone on what George and the Youngbloods has been up to. Last time we left off, we had found our new singer, Mark. We've been practicing with Mark for a month solid now, and are currently getting him up to speed on our setlist. He has also added a little more musical diversity to the mix, as he plays the harp, and pretty well, we must add. Things are coming together fairly easy, and in no time we should be up to speed. Currently, we are booking new shows at your favorites, like Bennys, Four Friends, and Chatters, adding new bars to the lineup (The Draft in Livonia on May 9), and working on a whole lot more, so we can give you good reason to get out on the weekends and tip your local waitstaff. We will also be working on a whole batch of new tunes soon and should have a few fresh ones for our upcoming shows. Stay tuned for more updates, thanks for your continued support. -George & Friends
February 9th Well it's been quite a time since the last posting. Sorry about that! We're excited to announce that we've found our new singer! Mark joins us with years of experience, a great voice and tons of material from the 60's through the present. We are looking forward to him entertaining as a frontman. He also plays keyboards and harmonica with a passion. We are really optimistic for 2008. In 2007 Channel 4 Announced s as the Best Local Band in the Detroit Area, and we just think we're getting started. With the updated lineup the sky is the limit, and we have no doubt we'll be filling our schedule shortly. Thanks to our supporters as well as those to tried out for the singing position. We hope to see you all soon!
